I have a close working relationship with the team at Kallos Gallery in Mayfair. Part of their breathtakingly beautiful and extremely rare ancient Greek artefacts is their jewellery collection, which has given me the opportunity to work with some incredible pieces.

It’s such a privilege to photograph jewellery that was designed, crafted and worn over two thousand years ago. The weighty yet contemporary-looking pair of lion head bracelets and the beautifully ornate gold armlet with Herakles knot, bounding lion and frog-formed Silenos are two stunning examples.

To help contextualise the objects and really bring them to life for the gallery’s Amaranthine exhibition, we photographed these items being worn.
